Rob is an amazing artist, mentor and teacher. My 12 year old drummer Elijah is still expanding his musical experiences and has studied under Rob remotely every week for an hour over the past 4 months. Always punctual, super energized and encouraging. We are so grateful for the opportunity for him to learn, and view Jazz music through Robs eyes and experience. Robs influence and teachings has benefited E, making him a better well rounded drummer. Highly recommended. Rock on.....

Rob is the best! He’s remotely teaching my 7 year old, and knows exactly how to keep it light and fun while introducing new concepts, and is always super encouraging. He’s been perfect for my son who previously had a tough time with in-person lessons.

So impressed and would highly recommend!!! Both myself and my 5 year old son are taking drum lessons with Rob. He’s lots of fun, highly knowledgable and makes the lessons exciting, enjoyable and very cool! I’m surprised this so well over zoom.

Rob is an excellent teacher. What qualities to work with both adults and children his patience and directness is spot on! He made my son feel comfortable behind the drums at first and then went right to work his ability to keep you interested and focused is outstanding. He taught us a couple beats so we could enjoy playing, Worked on our timing and counting and then brought us out books to teach us the right way. He is very versatile and styles and genres, we could not ask for a better fit.

I cannot thank Mr. Lee enough. My son who is 8 years old started taking lessons from him. He has done only two classes but it seems that he has progressed so much. Mr. Lee is not just a good teacher, but he has filled my 8 year old with enthusiasm, excitement and passion to learn. I see him practicing everyday. His previous Drum instructor took no interest in him nor did he answer any questions that my son would ask. I was a little afraid about putting him in a drum class with a remote instructor. But Mr. Lee asked me to try out his free class and see if works out for us. I was there the whole time in my son's first class and was amazed to see how being remote never posed a single problem, on the contrary my son really picked up fast. Mr. Lee himself is a great drummer and I am so thankful that we found him. I hope to see my son drumming at a professional level one day with his guidance. Thank you Mr Lee🙏

Set up first lesson within hours of contacting him. He is diverse on the drums and knowledgeable. He understood what I was looking for and made the content easy to understand. Looking forward to continuing to build my skills with Rob. I would recommend to anyone.

My son has only just started drum lessons, but so far Rob has been great to work with. He is very quick to respond to questions and tries to make connecting online for lessons as easy and smooth as possible. He interacts well with my son and has already provided additional support with video tutorials to help my son practice between lessons. So far, my son is really enjoying taking lessons!

Rob is a great teacher! I’m a beginner drummer and he has been going over the fundamentals of drumming so I don’t miss a beat! We also started to make drum beats right away and he goes threw them with me thoroughly until I understand and can play it back! Rob is a patient and knowledgeable teacher and is great for teaching any age and experience!

He is genuinely interested in helping others enjoy drums as much as he does. He doesn’t just show beats, he explains how those beats came to be, so you can really understand why you’re doing what you’re doing. And he was immediately able to help me adapt to being a leftie. This guy will make you feel like you can actually do this! He’s legit.

Rob was super helpful, friendly and professional. He helped me focus on aspects of the song that were challenging and even went above and beyond to send a recorded YouTube video to help focus on difficult parts. Highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to play drums.

It's too bad I couldn't have checked all 5 items, because all apply - the value and punctuality as well! From the start, Rob has shown me drum techniques that I can put into use right away (with work) that will increase my current playing abilities. He's helping me to expand my playing styles, and I'm sure he's going to keep giving me challenges, like a professional instructor should. Without change or challenges, we won't grow as musicians. Rob is a kind, friendly, and observant person with an attention to detail, and I am very pleased to have him as my personal instructor to further my drum base! I'm looking forward to see what the next year will bring! Thanks Rob!

I had my first 1/2 he intro lesson with Rob Lee yesterday 5/20/2021. I was delighted with his warm demeanor and his interest in knowing what my goals are for taking lessons. He is a good listener and very polite in general .I’ve been a hand drummer/percussionist on the semipro level for 20 years. At 67 yes old I have decided to fulfill my long term goal for learning the drum set . Rob was very encouraging and is giving me a plan to learn the strong fundamentals as I will need as a rank beginner to stick work . He’s made electronic charts for me to practice with which is great! I also would like to mention that the virtual lesson on my iPad was really great. No latency issues and very enjoyable! I highly reccomend him!

My 11-year-old son had an orientation lesson with Rob he was very detailed meticulous and was very much interested to know what my son wants to play. His attention to my new aspects of drums really impressed me. Me and my son talked to three agencies and undoubtedly he picked Rob for his future drum lessons. We are ending a contract with the current agency and soon will be starting lessons with Rob in the summer. Highly recommend Rob to anyone that’s looking for drum lessons

Rob is a great musician and teacher. He has a keen intuitiveness to the sound of music. What I mean by that is we tuned something’s on my son’s drum and Rob was able to pick up on that right away being that our training is done remotely. My son loves him and I think my son sounds amazing within only a few months time. I don’t always give 5* reviews, but Rob Lee definitely deserves it.
